L2.831.4.53.x) is a nice addition to the Longines Heritage collection, albeit (in my opinion) a bit less “inspired” than the other recently introduced models. It is more classical, featuring a traditional pilots-watch design, whereas the Heritage 1935 and Conquest Heritage are based on specific, iconic models that are easily recognizable.

In Australia at least they’re mostly known by their crowd pleasing collections, such as the women’s Dolce Vita line and chunky men’s HydroConquest range. The Longines Heritage 1935 comes with a relatively reasonable price tag of $2’300 USD, making a strong contender for a vintage-inspired piece that would fit in any watch collection. For some reason, Longines describes the dial as being “silver” but I think it’s closer to a very light cream color. It’s a mellow, subtle tone that nails the “vintage-inspired” aesthetic while staying far, far away from precarious fauxtina.
